Jay Andronaco Joins Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon as Director of Development

Mount Vernon, New York – February 13, 2023 – The Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon announced that Jay Andronaco has joined their staff as Director of Development. Andronaco  will be responsible for leading  the Club’s plan to generate resources and support for one of the leading youth development organizations in the greater New York metro area.

Jay Andronaco has more than 30 years of experience in development, partnerships, marketing, strategic planning, promotions, public relations, events, and marketing communications. Jay started his career working in the sports and entertainment industry.  Over the course of 25 years, he served in leadership and management positions at Army West Point Sports Properties, Special Olympics Connecticut, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Acclaim Sports Video Games, PGA of America Trade Shows (Reed Exhibition), Pepsi/Mountain Dew NASCAR (Millsport Sports Marketing), Diageo NASCAR, Golf, Soccer and Volleyball (Colangelo Synergy Marketing & Integrated Merchandising Systems), Strat-O-Matic Sports Game Company and Summit Golf Brands (Non-Stop Marketing & Promotions).

In 2012, Andronaco started working for nonprofits as a member of the Special Olympics Connecticut development department. In the following years, he served in management positions with Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, Villa Maria School, Capital Preparatory Charter Schools, Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – CT Chapter (Non-Stop Marketing & Promotions).

Jay embodies all of these qualities and more, and we are excited to have him join us.”

Jay is a graduate of Springfield College.  He has one daughter, Isabelle, who is a senior at Springfield College.
